PRE-REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR UNIVERSITY MASTER’S DEGREES IN CLINICAL MEDICINE RESEARCH IN THE 2024/2025 COURSE

WHERE AND WHEN CAN I PRE-REGISTER?
The pre-registration request will be made through the telematic application (opens in a new window: https://universite.umh.es/preins_postgrado/master/listado)
The University has two pre-registration periods. The second term will only be available for those master’s degrees in which there are vacancies:
- First term: from March 20 to June 21, 2024
- Second term: from July 26 to September 6, 2024
The documentation that must be uploaded in the “Attach documentation” section of the pre-registration form is: (in PDF format)
WHAT DOCUMENTATION SHOULD I ACCOMPANY WITH PRE-REGISTRATION?
- Copy of DNI (both sides), NIE (residents in Spain) or passport (foreigners).
- Title that gives access to the Master’s Degree or accreditation of having requested the degree and paid the issuance fees. In the case of access with conditional admission, the access title must not be provided.
- Official academic certificate that includes the average grade or SET (European Diploma Supplement). In the case of access with conditional admission, it will be enough to attach the invalid transcript extract, which includes the average grade obtained so far and the credits remaining to complete the degree studies. Please note that if during the pre-registration period you finish your studies and apply for a bachelor’s degree, you must provide the official academic certificate and not the transcript extract.
- Curriculum vitae, or, where applicable, standardized curriculum. Brief description of experience and training related to the Master’s Degree.
In the case of master’s degrees that require additional documentation contemplated in the admission criteria and especially in master’s degrees with excess demand, the certificates or documents that prove the merit attributed must be attached; Otherwise, said merit will not be taken into account for admission to the master’s degree. Students with an access qualification completed at the UMH will not have to present an ID, academic certificate or degree, as these data are held by the university.
WHAT DOCUMENTATION SHOULD I PROVIDE ADDITIONALLY IF I ACCESS WITH A FOREIGN DEGREE?
- Students who enter with a foreign degree previously approved or with a declaration of equivalence by the Spanish Ministry of Education must present the homologation credential or declaration of equivalence of the foreign degree.
- Legalization of the university degree and the official academic certificate:
No type of legalization is required for documents issued in member states of the European Union, signatories of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
Rest of countries: Legalization of the university degree that gives access to the master’s degree must be provided, as well as the official academic certificate.
- Declaration of equivalence of the average grade (https://universidades.sede.gob.es/pagina/index/directorio/Equivalencia_notas_medias), in accordance with the procedure established by the Ministry of Universities. This document must be presented when applying for admission to master’s degrees with excess demand.
- Students who enter with foreign studies that are not approved or do not have a declaration of equivalence, outside the European Higher Education Area, must present, during the pre-registration period, payment of the fee for the equivalence study (€155.22), established in the Consell’s Rates Decree.

SHOULD I PROVIDE THE DOCUMENTS REQUESTED IN PRE-REGISTRATION IN PERSON?
During the pre-registration procedure, you should not physically present the documents, you must upload them to the pre-registration form in the “Attach documentation” section in PDF format.
If you access with a foreign title, we will contact you after registration, by email, to request that you present the original access documents that are not electronic documents or that you send certified photocopies through a consulate/embassy or recognized notary public.
WHERE CAN I CONSULT THE SPECIFIC ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR EACH MASTER’S DEGREE?

you must consult the Access and Admission section of the master’s degree you want to take, in this case: Máster Universitario en Investigación en Medicina Clínica/Master’s in Clinical Medicine Research
HOW WILL I KNOW IF I AM ADMITTED? AND WHEN AND HOW CAN I CORRECT OR DISPUTE MY REQUEST?
The provisional and final results can be consulted in a personalized way through the pre-registration application ((opens in a new window: https://universite.umh.es/preins_postgrado/master/listado)) with the pre-registration key.
After the publication of the provisional results, if the application is in a state of correction, it will be corrected through the pre-registration application.
Complaints regarding the score obtained for admission must be addressed to the Master’s Directorate through a general request sent to the corresponding Campus Management Center, preferably through the electronic office (digital certificate or permanent password is required).
